3 Days from Fes, Itinerary:

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley & Merzouga

On the first day of our tour, we will leave Fez traveling through Midelt driving our 4×4 car accompanied by a professional local guide. We will stop Cedar Fores, the largest forest in Morocco where you may enjoy the Berber apes, after traveling through the brilliant Ifrane city (Switzerland of Morocco).

The journey continues after having lunch through Tiz Ntalghamt pass and Ziz Gorges. Traveling along Ziz Valley we will reach Erfoud and Rissani. After the arrival at Merzouga in the evening, you will have a warm welcoming followed by serving a nice Saharaan Moroccan tea before you check-in to Riad. After that, you will ride camels toward the high sand dunes and enjoy the amazing sunset. Dinner will be had in Erg Chebbi (the largest desert in Morocco).

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges & Dades Valley

On this, you will be up early to enjoy the charming sunrise over the highest and largest dunes in Morocco. You will eat your breakfast and take a warm shower at your accommodation when you are back to Merzouga town. Riissani, where the largest Souks in Morocco, Tinghir and Todra Gorges (a series of limestone river canyons) where visitors and enjoy hiking. They the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here, we will have lunch before we head to Dades Valle, where the majestic sandcastles and monkey toes (a fascinating rock formation) are an attraction for visitors. In Dades Valley, you will spend the night.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou & Marrakech

The tour continues on the third day toward Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). Many movies have been filmed in Ouarzazate such as The Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Traveling through the Road of Thousand Kasbah, you will take some time to enjoy the view and take some pictures. Kalaa M’Gouna will another fascinating place you will visit, too. It is also nicknamed the Valley of Roses for its beauty and production of roses. We will also visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou on our way. The journey proceeds driving through Tizi N’Tichka which is 2260m over the High Atlas Mountains. Before we arrive at our destination, Marrakech, you will have the opportunity to observe the process of extracting argan oil in cooperative’s Berber.
