3 Days from Marrakech to Sahara desert

3 days from Marrakech, Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech -Ait Ben Haddou & Dades Valley

The first day of Marrakech tour begins with picking you from your accommodation. Through the famous pass of Tizi N’Tichka, you will be driven admiring the fascinating landscapes. On our way, we will explore the range of Atlas Mountains when we visit some Berber villages where we’ll have the opporunity to observe the process of extracting Argan oil by cooperative women. After that, we stop to visit Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage.

Having lunch is followed by heading towards Dades gorges traveling through Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). Ouarzazate has served as a location to film many international movies. During our journey, we’ll travel along the famous Road of Thousand Kasbah before we arrive ay Kalaat M’Gouna. It is also nicknamed the Valley of Roses.  Klaat M’gouna is famous for the beauty of its roses and the festival of roses that is held every year in May.

You will have dinner spend the night at a hotel in Ddes Valley.

Enjoy a special camel trek  exploring different prominent landmarks of Morocco.

Day 2: Dades, Todra Gorges & Merzouga Desert

The tour of 3 days from Marrakech resumes after having breakfast. We’ll travel through Dades Valley where the sand castles and monkey toes (an amazing rock formation) are a points of attraction. Before we reach Todra Gorges, will stop at Tinghir to enjoy the wonderful and ancient Berber villages. In Todra Gorges (the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco), we may experience hiking. Todra Gorges is one of the top choices for rock climbers. Next place that will be visited before Rissani is the town of Erfoud where you explore the interesting fossils. The tour proceeds doward Merzouga’s town where you’ll find camels ready for you to ride. We’ll head to camp in the Sahara desert where you’ll enjoy supper in a nomad tent.

Day 3: Merzouga, Draa Valley & Marrakech

On the day number three, you’ll be up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes in the core of Merzouga’s desert. After coming back to Merzouga, you will have a nice breakfast and take a refreshing shower. Before we make our way back to Marrakech, the next destination is Ouarzazate traveling through Agdez and Draa valley. During the journey, we will cross the well-known Tizi N’Tichka pass.

The tour of 3 days from Marrakech comes to an end when we arrive at Marrakech.
