8 Days tour from Tngier, Itinerary:

Day 1 : Tangier & Chefchaouen

On the frst day of 8 days tour from Tangier to Desert and Marrakech, you will be lift up from the port of Tangier after welcoming you kindly. We will leave Tangier driving you through the fascinating Rif’s Mountains toward Chechouen. This blue city has a Spanish designing style with brilliant combination of colors, restaurants, cafés, craft stores and work-shops. You’ll spend the night at alocal Riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes & Fes 

Today’s program includes traveling to Volubilis through Wazan town and many other Rif Mountains. Volubilis is known as the most prominent Roman Empire ruins in Morocco. After we finish exploring Voulubilis, the tour continues to Meknes where we stop to have lunch at a mlocal restaurant. In Meknes, we will visit Bab El Mansour. This iconic and huge door was was built in 1732 . It is famous for its marble columns and geometric ornamentation. Moulay Ismail place is the next place we will visit in Meknes before we head to Fez where you stay in a Riad.

Day 3: Fes sightseeing

Today’s program of the 8 days tour from Tangier will be devoted to explore Fez. It is the ancient city on Morocco and one of the Arabic largest cities. During our visit, we will stroll through its interesting and alleyways and back roads. We will have a visit to Royal Palace, which is seen as an astonishing model of modern restoration, and Jewish headquarter (the first built Mellah in Morocco). Proceeding the tour, we will visit more cultural and historical sites including including Al Qaraouine University which is the first established university in the world according to Guiness record, UNESCO and many other scholars. After that, we will visit the Tennaries, the historical center Al Attarine, and Moulay Idriss. The tour continues to the cooperatives after having lunch. Finally, you will enjoy a wonderful view of the whole Medina while you are having a drink.

 

Day 4: Fes- Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley- Erfoud & Merzouga

The 4th day’s plan of the 8 days tour from Tangier will be traveling to Merzouga. During your journey, you will travel through Errachidia and Erfoud (where the interesting fossils and their work-shops). We will also cross the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt pass and Ziz Gorges admiring the High Atlas Mountains’ landscapes. Lunch will be served in Errachidia before we resume our tour toward Merzouga alongside the wonderful Ziz Valley. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Merzouga where you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Saharn glass of mint tea before you check-in to a Riad.

Day 5: Merzouga – Sahara Desert & Camel Trek

Riding camels, we will begin exploring Merzouga’s desert. Today, we will enjoy a visit to Khamilia village wher Gnawa people live. They originally come from other African countries like Mali, Senegal and Sudan. In this intresting village, you will listen to Gnawa music and observe people’s lifestyle. After that, we will drive through Sahara desert to meel nomad families and learn about their way of living. You’ll have for lunch a Berber Pizza before we drive to visit Rissani Town which is encircled by over 360 fortress towers. Rissani has the largest traditional markets in Morocco(traditional markets).

Rissani was named Sijilmassa where trading caravans used to gather from Tombouctou in Mali. After we are back to Merzouga, we will ride camelback to the highest sand dunes in Morocco. You will spend the night in a nomad tent where supper is served.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou & Marrakech

On this day of the 8 days tour from Tangier, the plan is traveling through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. The way to Dades Valley is also known as the Road of Thousands Kasbahs. During our journey, we will have many opportunities to take pictures of the panoromic views. Next, we will stop at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (the largest Kasbah in the between all the Moroccan Kasbahs). It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Tne next step is heading towards the High Atlas Mountains admiring the breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages along the road before we reach Marrakech. After reaching our destination (Marrakevh), you will spend the night at a Riad close to the Medina.

 

Day 7: Marrakech

In order to exploring Marrakech, you will be accompanied with one of the our Morocco Sadaris guides to visit the visit the cultural and historical sites During our journey, you’ll be guided to visit The Majorelle Gardens, which was built in 1923 by a French artist, The Koutoubia Tower (one of the largest mosques in Morocco), The Saadian Tombs that return to 17th century, and Bahia Palace which is is a still-standing 19th-century monument. Walking through the interesting Souks and see the handicrafts come after having lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Day 8: Marrakech to airport – End of 8 days tour from Tangier

The day number eight is the last day of yours in Morocco. You’ll have a free time before we transfer you to Casablanca/Marrakech airport.
